#NSALE Review!

July 26, 2016

Eeeee! My #nsale packages have started to arrive! I was going to wait until I got everything in to do a review post, but a few items are either delayed in transit or have a delayed ship date! So I wanted to at least give ya'll my opinion on the items I've received so far before everything sells out :)
Here goes!!
(Sorry for the grainy photos!)
This Look:
BP Open Front Cardigan in Olive (Sold Out, Style #5125037)

Here is one of the many BP cardigans that stole the show this year! I'm wearing it in an x-small, which you can see is still rather big. What drew me to this cardigan was the length (can totally be worn with leggings) and there's zero wool! I'm sad that it's HUGE because it really is such a great staple. It's currently sold out, but I included the style number above if you want to keep checking for returns!

This t-shirt is SO soft and it's the perfect length to half tuck in the front, but still cover your stomach/sides when you move. I love the "U-Neck"- super flattering and gives a feminine touch to a basic tee. It's also light weight, but not see through! Perfect for layering. I'm wearing an x-small, so true to size. You can't beat it for $17.90! I'm waiting on the black and white stripe to arrive!

These jeans. I've never tried the Kut from the Kloth brand before. I thought they looked cute online and the price was reasonable at $59.90, so I went for it. Reviews said to size down, but since this post partum body of mine is new to me, I went with size 26/2, which is what I've been wearing in most brands recently. Turns out I should have sized down. They were soft, comfortable, and not really gappy in the waist (see pic below for back side view). However, I definitely had some extra "room" that I knew would result in "slouchy crotch" after a few hours of wear.
And to state the obvious, these jeans were WAY too long :( You can see in the photo above that I tried cuffing one hem to see if altering them would be an option, but I've decided they we just weren't meant to be.
All in all, they were comfy jeans and the pockets were cute!

This Look:
Sole Society Oversize Speckled Plaid Blanket Scarf (Sold Out in black (style #5167978), available in navy)

Now for my favorites!!!! EEEE! I tried these Madewell jeans for the FIRST time today! I've heard people lush over how amazing they are, but I didn't get it until now. These jeans fit Like. A. Glove.!!! Like an expensive, tailored to your hand, made for you, leather GLOVE. WOW is all I can say. They are SO soft! I got them in a 26/2 and they buttoned perfectly. The back pockets are well placed (sorry for the super grainy pic!) and there is Zero gap in the waist. Again, like a glove.
These jeans retail at $128, but the anniversary sale price is $84.90. More than I've ever spent on jeans, but I've also never had a pair fit me like these. My only hesitancy is that I don't know what my body is going to do when it comes to weight gain once I stop breast feeding. So I'm on the fence.... keep them or wait to splurge once I have a better idea of where I'll be size wise in a few months.....sigh.

This top....oh my goodness, I love this top so much. I'm a sucker for a stripe, a gray stripe more specifically, and this top had both. So logically... duh. It has a dolman-esque 3/4 sleeve and is comfy enough to be pajamas. I'm all about the comfy factor, if you can't tell :) I want it in every color! Or stripe.

This scarf....YES. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it actually has multi-colored flecks all throughout, which make is universally versatile. And it's not itchy at all! It's currently sold out of black, but available in navy. Both are adorable. Keep an eye out for returns....you may see another black one pop back in stock!

THESE BOOTS! Ya'll....I asked for Nordstrom gift cards for Christmas and my Birthday to specifically be able to get Frye boots! They are E v e r y t h i n g !!! They even smell amazing lol! Seriously though, the leather does smell good. I'd say they are true to size. I'm typically between a 7 1/2 and 8. I went with an 8 because I want to be able to wear thick socks in the Fall/Winter. But they do feel a little big, so I may keep an eye out for restocked size 7 1/2 to compare before I take the tags off these babies.

This Look:
Sole Society Oversize Speckled Plaid Blanket Scarf (Sold Out in black (style #5167978), available in navy)
BP Long Sleeve Tunic Tee (in Burgundy Stem)
UGG Cobie II Block Heel Bootie (in Nightfall Suede)

BP Scarf (see above review). Again, goes with everything!

This top. When I purchased this top, it was only available in a small (smaller sizes restocked!), which you can see is Huge. However, if it were the right size I'd probably keep it I liked that it had slits on the side and had a slightly longer hem in the back, which made it a little more interesting than your standard long tunic/tee. It's priced right at $17.90, pretty soft, long enough to wear with leggings, comes in multiple colors...overall a pretty good staple if you need to fill that void in your wardrobe.

The Leggings. I broke down and bought the Zella Live in Leggings this year. I've heard the hype over and over, so I caved. I bought them last year, but ended up returning them without even trying them on because I thought they looked "small" and I didn't think I'd like the fabric. I ordered them in a "small" again this year (now 10lbs lighter) and they were still Super snug. Like, more snug than I'd like a legging to be.
They're made of polyester and spandex.....so they have an athletic pant look? I don't know...I'm just not feeling them. I guess I just prefer a cotton/spandex legging. But I will say that the top pictured above glided nicely over these...no sticking or catching over your bum, probably because there's no cotton to "catch." So if the polyester doesn't bother you, they're a good option, but I'd definitely recommend sizing UP.

And finally, these UGG Boots. Ya'll, These booties have Sherpa!! S H E R P A! Your toes will never be cold! I got them in a size 8 and I think with socks, they'll fit just fine. I'm just wavering on the color. I love the grey, but since it has a brown heel, I feel like I won't be able to wear them with the oufits in my closet I'd want to. I'm debating on the black leather ones  for more versatility in my wardrobe. But overall, Super comfy :)

Well, that's it! I still expecting a few more pieces- some jeans, boots and outerwear. I'll let you know how they go!!

Comment below if you have picks from the sale that I need to check out!
