Linen, meet Chambray. Chambray, meet Linen. This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. :)

I've been staring at this adorable chambray skirt for weeks! So when Loft ran their 50% off sale last week, I finally decided to pick it up. 

I have been absolutely in love with stretchy waste skirts this Summer (see post here). They are comfy and cool (I need to emphasize Cool), which makes them perfect for NOVA heat.  

Tuck your top in or leave it out. Why not add a belt? This waistband style is so versatile! You can easily dress this skirt up for the office with a blouse or cardigan, or you can pair it with a tank for your 4th of July BBQ.

I added this LOFT linen blouse and matching cardigan for the office today, but I can easily see myself throwing on some flip flops and a tank for running errands this weekend. :)

I went for some of my favorite neutral accessories to finish up my look.
